Forty years ago, Zwilling J. A. Henckels revolutionized the standards for top-quality knives with the introduction of the seamless synthetic handle. Sitting comfortably in the hand, the knives in this eight-piece set feature broad, strong blades and fine cutting edges . Forged from single pieces of steel the knives are hand sharpened and polished, and perfectly sized and weighted for all kinds of cutting tasks. Housed in a birch hardwood block, the set includes 4" paring, 5" serrated utility, 5.5" prep, 8" chef's and 8" bread knives plus kitchen shears and 9" sharpening steel.
