summary

A fresh green vegetable is always a welcome addition at the Thanksgiving table, and we love a dish that doesn’t require coveted oven space. The air fryer turns this air-fried Brussels sprouts recipe into the perfect crunchy bite, seasoned just right with balsamic vinegar and Dijon mustard.

ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 ½ tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 ½ tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, halved

directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 425°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Add the Brussels sprouts to the mixing bowl and toss until coated in the dressing.
  3. Add half the Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket, leaving space between each. Cook until fork-tender and caramelized, about 15 minutes. Transfer the crispy Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl and cover to keep warm. Cook the second half of the Brussels sprouts the same way. Transfer to the serving bowl and serve at once.

notes

Leave space between foods in an air fryer so they can properly crisp from the circulating heat.

If you like a little heat, add 1 teaspoon of chili crunch to the dressing or drizzle over the Brussels sprouts after they are cooked.

Don’t make these too far in advance; they are best right out of the air fryer.
