simplehuman's breakthrough step can features an innovative, integrated drip guard that eliminates the need for an inner bucket and an interior pocket that stores and dispenses liners one at a time, speeding up change time and increasing trash capacity by 25%. Inside, a stainless steel rim grips the liner to keep unsightly edges concealed. The durable, extra-wide steel step pedal is engineered to last 150,000 steps (that's more than 20 steps a day for 20 years). Patented lid technology ensures a smooth, silent close every time, while an internal hinge prevents the lid from bumping the wall. Liner refill packs slip easily into the back of the built-in liner pocket.
